The Trends Towards Federalism in Italy
Abstract
The decentralization between the Region and the State in our constitutional system has taken place in two stages (constitutional law n. 1, 1999; constitutional law n.3, 2001), which however, have not been able to adequately form a federalist state. A federalist State in Italy may only be achieved with the introduction of significant revisions, in particular of the Executive and Legislative power and of the Constitutional Court.
